A four-week session of the Focus on Parenting Group will be held starting this Thursday, 5/7, in the elementary school library from 3:15-4:15.
The goal of this group is to provide resources for successful, positive parenting, increase parents’ confidence in their tools for problem-solving and communication, and to provide a supportive, respectful and collaborative setting to discuss any questions or struggles with other parents and the GFU psychology program in a safe atmosphere.
The group will be held bilingually. All parents and caregivers are welcome, and new attendees are welcome any week. Groups will be held 5/7, 5/14, 5/21, and 5/28.

St. Paul PTC Wild West Carnival ~ Bring your friends and family to the St. Paul PTC's annual carnival, May 29th from 5 pm to 8 pm at St Paul Elementary School. This year's theme is the Wild West! Come enjoy a stagecoach bounce house, photo booth, dunk tank, rope toss, BINGO, carnival games, food, prizes, and raffles including a Traeger Patio Heater, Vista Balloons ride, and Disneyland Park Hopper Family Pack. All proceeds are used for St. Paul school projects, activities, and class materials. The St. Paul PTC would like to thank all of our generous sponsors and donors, including the St. Paul Rodeo Association, Marion Ag, St. Paul Jaycees, St. Paul Telephone, Disneyland, and others!
Our local St. Paul Green Grazers 4H Club will be conducting their annual can/bottle drive on May 31st this year. The funds that we collect from this drive assist our children in paying for their membership dues, club supplies and stall fees. If you have cans or bottles to donate please call Laurie Nicklous at (503)780-8441. The 2015 Marion County Fair will be held Thursday, July 9th thru Sunday, July 12th this year….Please come see us at the fair!
