Please join us on Monday, February 23 at 7:00pm in the elementary gym for our second community information and input gathering session related to the recent work of the school district bond committee. We want to share our story and hear your thoughts on how the district hopes to improve the learning environment for our students and the quality of our district facilities for all the residents of St. Paul through a passage of a general obligation bond this May.
National FFA Week – February 21st-28th 2015
St. Paul FFA invites the entire school to be involved in celebrating FFA Week by participating in Dress up days:
Monday 2/23: Favorite Farm/Ag Industry Day – Sport the logo of your favorite farm or Ag Business on a shirt or hat (example: local business (B&D farm, Coleman Farms, Marion Ag) or other industries (John Deere, CASE, etc)
Tuesday 2/24: Rival day: Ducks vs Beavers: Support your favorite team
Wednesday 2/25: Western Wednesday
Thursday 2/26: Camo Day
Friday 2/27: Blue and Gold Day/FFA T-Shirt for Members
Win prizes for dressing up! Check in at lunch Mon. thru Wed. at the officer booth to get entered in a drawing for prizes. Answer Ag Trivia and get an extra entry. Thursday post a picture of yourself to social media, before or after school, using #SPFFACAMODAY to earn a ticket for Thursday.

Friday – Drive Your Tractor to School Day & Activity Meeting with Chapter Ag Olympics followed by Pizza Lunch

Attention High School Tracksters!!!
There will be an informational meeting for all 9-12 students interested in being on the 2015 Buckaroo Track & Field Team!

Our first practice will be Monday, March 2nd after school. You will need a completed Athletic Permission/Insurance form, a valid sports physical (within the last two years), and have paid the $100 sports fee.
Come watch the high school girls face off in the Blue vs. White Powder Puff Game!!
Admission will be $2 per person and will be held at St. Paul High School on February 26 at 4:00pm.
All proceeds will go to St. Paul’s graduating class of 2015.

March 2nd to March 6th: Chemeketa Scholars Application Period
Chemeketa Scholars receive a full tuition scholarship for up to two years in any field of study, including any of our career technical programs.
The scholarship is awarded to applicants who meet the following eligibility requirements:
-Attend high school in Chemeketa’s district or reside within Chemeketa's district
-Earn a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better (as of first semester/quarter grades of final year in high school)
-Earn minimum COMPASS placement test scores of 80 in Reading, 75 in Writing and placement into Math 095 or higher*
-Be on track to earn a regular high school diploma
-Enroll full-time (12-18 credits) at Chemeketa the fall that immediately follows high school graduation
March 2nd: Oregon Community Quarterback Scholarship Deadline
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
-Achieve a high school diploma or GED in the state of Oregon
-Completed an application to at least one Oregon collegiate program (university, college, or trade program)
-Committed to attending an Oregon university, college, or trade school in 2015/16 academic year
-Completed standardized testing required for program admission (SAT or ACT)
-Proof of Community Involvement/Volunteerism
